A promising start

I love weekends like this. My Saturday and Sunday encompassed five different shows.
1) Rehearsed Clue: The Musical, 2) got through callbacks for White Christmas, 3) performed Steel Magnolias--twice, 4) attended Wedding from Hell, and 5) read Noises Off!

Also in the mix, I discussed costumes for Cash on Delivery with my assistant, M, and made my next audition appointment. I'd been torn on whether to audition for Cash, since I'm also costuming it and had such a blast playing Brenda Dixon last year. But then I re-read Noises, and knew I had to at least audition.

Oh, and also: I created this blog. I'll be copying stuff over from my 'regular' blog, so that I can chronicle my theatre thoughts and adventures for my own future reference all in one place without boring non-theatre friends and family. Someday I'll go to bed on Sunday nights having enjoyed a relaxing weekend, and looking forward to a Monday filled with more theatre, rather than a Monday filled with the office. Hopefully this blog will trace that journey.
